...catharsis...

OK, so as we all know I am no longer playing bass for This is My Curse, and while I was really upset about how it went down, I have begun to feel better about the situation. I am still not talking to John (Blaze) and Keely, nor haven't heard from either of them, and I doubt I will hear from them any time soon. These are 2 people that completely lied to my and drummer Richard about attending an awards show that Curse was nominated for in the category of "Best Rock Band", I was proud of the fact that we were nominated! However, that wasn't meant to be. John and Keely took it upon themselves to attend the show, walk the red carpet and perform without the bassist (me) and drummer (Richard). Put simply, when asked, John and Keely both told me that they weren't attending the show, due to personal problems they were facing and lack of funds! Then told our drummer (Richard) that the money wasn't turned in on time! Too greedy and attention whorish for the spotlight, they attended without us...when asked why we weren't in attendance, the answer was "replaced" and "shit happens"...not even the decency of a phone call! I could rant and rave about the bullshit that Curse went through in the year and a half I played with them. I will state that my inability to go on tour was probably a catalyst for my departure...(got a family, just not gonna get up and make my wife handle everything so I can play with a pair of people that obviously didn't respect me) So...at this point I am going to focus on my spoken word and writing, and being the best dad/husband I can be! I will return to music soon, It's in my blood, and I will never abandon it! It's the soul of who I am! ...as for John and Keely, your business acumen is nothing short of prehistoric, I'm the ex member, it doesn't really matter what I say...you'll continue doing what you do...just keep in mind you've been pushing this band for 6 years, yet haven't been close to the popularity you had with me, Richard and David!
