Children

So on the first day of football camp for Las Vegas High School...my son slips on some wet grass and breaks his wrist in 2 places! What bothered be wasn't the injury (my son, for the most part was a trooper)...I was more frustrated with the bullshit bureaucratic business with hospitals and health care! Now that it's all said and done, he has 3 pins in his wrist and he's hurting pretty good, but once again taking it like a champ! Just frustrated over the red tape and the course of this journey! It's indeed a #firstworldproblem, since there are many out there that don't have my insurance options. However, this journey has frustrated me beyond end! 

Ride

Went on my first cycle ride since my knee sprain...went easy today 3 1/2 miles...listening to Concrete Blonde...ride went well...can definitely feel it in the knee. Checked out the sunrise on the incline to the house...breathtaking...glad Love woke me up today to witness it!
