News of the strange!

...so I go to the local dry cleaners by my house, I have to drop off my suit to get cleaned for work.  There's usually a little Korean man who works behind the counter, nice guy, always cordial and polite.  I stroll into the cleaners with my suit, and first thing I notice is that my little guy behind the counter is missing. Instead there are 2 other people behind the counter.  So I walk up and ask, "hey, can I get this suit jacket done by 5pm?" "I'm sorry, we're just taking over the store" the guy tells me.  Make a long story short, apparently my little mild-mannered Korean guy went bat-shit crazy, tore up all the dry cleaning equipment!  Destroyed it all, punctured the boiler that runs the equipment and flew back to Korea!  The guy just left his shop, more importantly, who in the hell is gonna clean my damn suit jacket!

I really hope they get my dry cleaners up and running again, I like it and it's convenient!

I remember a few years ago...my family went on a family vacation...we took a cruise to Ensenada!  We're all in the car and my son and daughter are arguing over the radio...."play this cd", "play that", "what station are we listening to?"  So, soon as we get to Baker , CA, I made everyone listen to Fleetwood Mac the rest of the way to Long Beach!  Tango in the Night and Rumors, both albums the way there and back!  The kids were pissy, but I had a blast singing to Big Love, Go your Own Way, and Seven Wonders!

Dont ever piss me off with the radio on car trips!  I'll play something guaranteed for me to love and you hate!...and I will sing to it too!

I went and checked out my all time fave band on Friday...FISHBONE!  All I can say is i'm still riding on a wave after the show!

I've been thinking about history all day, not the facts, more the covering of the truth...his story! Just wondering how much truth and substance is omitted to make some shit believeable! Just one example, in the Bible, Jesus is described as having "skin of bronze" and "hair of lambs wool" Yet walk into any church and there's Jesus, blonde, blue-eyed, looking like Brad Pitt! Im merely saying...question your history, dig deeper than the surface, because who knows what biased bastard with pen in hand decided to write!

What the f*@k!

...so I jam over to band practice after work...and I have had a rough day at work today! I'm really trying to get over there because I know my man Brett (Drunken One) has a cold beer with my name all over it!. I get to his house and drag all my shit inside, then ask for a beer...as strange as this sounded...he didn't have any! What?!? The D.O. without beer...who are you, and what have you done with my friend? So D.O. explains that he hasn't gone to get any, but a short while into practice his wife walks into the door with a 12 pack of Corona Light, and at that point...all was right with the world!

...this cat had a bad day!

So I'm sitting in my car yesterday on the way to work and I get to the corner of Sahara/Paradise. I'm listening to the radio really just out in space...then i notice a homeless man walking through traffic at the light, asking for change. I'd love to help the guy out, but I'm broke and have zero money. Sooo as the man walks up, I tell him, "sorry man, I don't have anything", now the guy stares at me! "Fuck you, you're a piece of shit!" the guy screams at me...i'm sitting in my car like...whoa! I just got cursed out by a homeless guy...what the hell?!?!

The light turns green and I speed away...but nonetheless I got cursed out!

6ft BBQ ride!

I'm trying to figure out just what in the hell I was thinking?!? Since I have started mountain biking (and loving every second of it), i took a small hiatus...to nurse injuries, plus the Vegas sun in the afternoon as of late is WAY too hot! So, yesterday, on my day off bored as hell I decide to get on my bike and knock out a 10 mile ride! Great...so I map my route, stretch and take off...not realizing it's 110 fucking degrees outside!! Not to mention that the longest ride I've had thus far was 6 miles, so tacking on another 4 miles in this heat wasn't a bright idea! So I'm doing great...and WHAM it hits me at about mile 8...just hit the wall and ran out of gas! The midday sun sapped all the strength out of me, I had nothing left. I actually got off my bike and walked for about 1/4 mile to gather enough strength to get home. When I got home, I stripped to skivvies and stood in front of a floor fan, trying to hydrate myself for a good 15 minutes!

So now I've decided to ride early in the morning , before the demonic Vegas sun tries to kill me again!

I know it's been a bit! I know no one reads this, however if you do! I'm wishing you blessings and I hope you're doing well. I'm on my personal mission to get rid of some weight and be outside a lot more! I recently picked up a mountain bike, so I plan on being outside a lot!
